Hi,

My TMS320C5505 eZdsp USB Stick development tool has arriver [:)] Upon installing the software (PLATINUM...) I realised that the there is a 30 day trial period on CCS4.

Before purchasing, I was under the impression that I would be able to use CCS4 to program the TMS320C5505 eZdsp without the any trial periods. When the 30 day period expires, will I still be able to program my C5505 device?

Hi Nemanya,

The CCSv4 that is provided with the C5505 eZdsp is not limited to 30 days. You can find the installation instructions in the booklet that comes with the eZdsp. One of the steps is to create a user license. If you bypass the license activation you can do a 30 day evluation, but if you create the license then there is not a 30 day limitation.
