Part Number: AM6442
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG
For AM6442 cortex-R5 core, trying to do memory block copy with UDMA, inside MCU_PLUS_SDK, there are some examples, such as "udma_memcpy_polling_am64x-evm_r5fss0-0_freertos_ti-arm-clang" and "udma-chaining-am64x-evm-r5fss0-0_freertos_ti-arm-clang", both of them are successfully compiled, but when I run them on my board, they just hanged, doesn't do any outputs on debugging log, and when I port the example code into my own project, I got following message,
[MAIN_Cortex_R5_0_0] ASSERT: 0.3231s: syscfg/ti_drivers_open_close.c:Drivers_udmaConfigUdma0BlkCopyOpen:225: UDMA_SOK == retVal failed !!!
looks like it failed to open UDMA with the driver, and I noticed in SysConfig gui, it documented that udma channel creation can fail at runtime in SysConfig generated Drivers_open() and listed 3 conditions, which sounds like what I experienced here.
Any suggestion on what I should do to fix my issue? I powered up my board with no-boot config.
