Hi Support Team,

Our customer is considering "EM-Linux" as the OS to be used this time.
Regarding "DRA829V" and "AM62xx", we would like to know following questions.

Q1: Are they compatible with EM-Linux?
Q2: If Q1 is not supported, are there any problems in porting/development?
Please let us know if you know the difficulty level of development based on the difference of SoC.
We know that Cybertrust has an AM335x evaluation board (StarterKit) that supports EM-Linux.

Best regards,
Kanae

  • Hi Kanae,

Our customer is considering "EM-Linux" as the OS to be used this time.
Regarding "DRA829V" and "AM62xx", we would like to know following questions.

    AM62 datasheet: https://www.ti.com/lit/gpn/am625

It is a quad core A53 ARM where as DRA829 is a dual A72.
So both of them have individual SDKs. Of course there are similar boot flows but not exactly the same.
So there are quite a few differences.

What is EM-Linux that you are asking for? You mean Linux OS on both?
