dear Sirs,

We just adquire a TMDSEVM6657 board and we are trying to install and config CCS, SDK and the examples..

We are following:

[FAQ] TMS320C6657: Quick start Guide C6657 and C6657-EVM,

which is just refered on the page of TMS320C6657 (support and Training section).

We follow all the steps but we are not succed on point 3.b ) How to build and run the platform test on C6657 EVM ?.

To do this, we just follow the link (https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1071275/faq-tms320c6657-how-to-build-and-run-the-platform-test-on-c6657-evm)

and do everything until "Step 2: Import the "Platform test example" into CCS 9.3 and re-build".

Please, find attached an screenshot of the errors an messages that we get when tryning to build "platform_lib_evmc6657l".:

Do you have an idea of what the problem can be? (hope you can see the image correctly)

If we skip this and try to continue with the general process, we also get problems when trying to "generate the CCS-based PDK examples" which is really important for us.

If you need further information do not hesitate to ask for it.

Yes, This error is known to us.

Solution:

While building Platform lib / test of PDK in Processor SDK 6.3, if received CSL errors, Please do the following steps:

1. Right click and go to project properties

2. Build options --> C6000 compiler --> Include option--> #include search path Add path --> "${CG_TOOL_ROOT}/include"

3. Apply and close.

4. Build again.

Thank you very much for your reply.

I got it with the platform_lib_evmc6657l.

However, with platform _test_evmc6657l, I did not succced. Please look at the attached screenshot:

Still I can not build it. Any idea?

This error is "Cerrno".

The solution to this problem is captured here. Please follow the steps given in the below link.

Try the solution below.

While building Platform lib/test of PDK in Processor SDK 6.3, if received CSL errors, Please do the following steps:

1. Right click and go to project properties

2. Build options --> C6000 compiler --> advanced option--> Pre-defined symbols --> ( --define ) click Add symbol --> SOC_C6657

3. Apply and close.

4. Build again.

Hi,

It is already done but without result. See next picture:

Anyway, this is not important anymore for me because already I am able to build and run examples and therfore start to work on the examples.

So, if you want, we can leave this in this point.

Joaquin,

Try this....

1. Try restarting the machine

2. Try restarting the CCS.

3. CCS options -- > window --> preferences-->general -->products --> add-->C:\ti\pdk_c665x_2_0_16\packages\ti\csl

4. apply and close

5. restart ccs.
