AM625: Dual-link OLDI output link mode

Part Number: AM625

Hello team,

Has the dual-link OLDI output link mode been validated on AM62? My customer wants to use the DSS pipeline #1 to generate an image that would be split on a left and a right display through an FPD-Link interface on the AM62 dual-link OLDI output. The alternative would be to use the 2 video pipelines, but this would impose using the DPI interface, which they'd like to avoid.

Can we confirm the feasibility of such a scheme? Also, how does one generate such an interlaced image since with FPD-Link, the odd pixels in a line would go to one display and the even pixels of the same line, to the other display. This seems to be more complex to generate compared to having the first N pixels of the line corresponding to one display, and the last N pixels to the other display.

Thank you.

Best regards,
François.
