about KITL

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP3530

I want to use KITL for my application debug.

but my USBFN RNDIS KITL communication is too slow (about 20~30KB/s with download image 30~60MB) and

my system shutdowns soon after image download finished.

my board is, Technexion Tao3530 Thunder board using OMAP3530.

Can you guess any reason for it?

and additionally, is there any way to boot from SD card with KITL enabled?

Thanks~

Kim, Woo Young.

  • Have you tried to contact Technexion for support on their board & BSP? This site is really only intended for support of TI-provided products.

  • Sorry, I'm trying to contact them first ^^;

    But I'm a regular customer of TI, and your e2e community  impressed me very much,

    Would you please let me know if there is any way to boot from sd card with kitl enabled?

    Thanks and have nice days~

  • I am not sure if i understand your question - but if you use TI WINCE ARM A8 BSP for Mistral EVM3530, then (a) you can download the NK.bin over ethernet when booting from SD card. (b) if your NK.bin has KITL enabled, then it can connect when kernel boots up, regardless of where the eboot, xldr and Nk.bin are located.

    But since this a very specific BSP feature, you will have to contact your BSP vendor to know for sure.
