TMS320C6457: TMS320C6457 POR pin and Reset pin sequencing and unused SRIO pins

Hi Team, seeking for some support.

During power application to the DSP TMS320C6457 the POR and the Reset pins are asserted Low. After stable power is applied, should the POR pin and the RESET pin be deasserted at the same time or can the RESET pin can be deasserted prior to the POR pin.  If either are acceptable, which is the preferred method?  If releasing the reset pin prior to the POR in is unadvisable, what issues could present?

We have a design in which RIORXP2/RIORXN2 are not used.  Should these inputs be cap'd and grounded to prevent noise OR is disabling the SerDes rx channel via software only an acceptable method?
