Hello Team,

Is there any tool from TI which helps us to find our resource consumption(RAM,ROM,STACK usage etc) from MAP file or any other method ?

We want do it for R5F core MCU and A72 core.

Hi Pratik,

On the Linux side there are user space utilities to check on A72 side:

RAM/memory usage: free
CPU Load: top, mstat
ROM usage is something typically not given out.

We are using ti arm clang Compiler for build.

So is there any script or tool which can calculate resource consumption(RAM,ROM,STACK usage) by reading MAP and ELF file?

Hi Pratik,

I don't think that there is any tool available like that, but I'll double check that. Meanwhile, you can try using FreeRTOS ROV view in CCS, which can provide you similar data. You can refer to the link software-dl.ti.com/.../freertos_ccs_rov.html for details on ROV view.
