  • Hi team,

To avoid ambiguity, I would like to add the problem description.

The system on the TDA4 board cannot recognize the USB device connected to the TDA4 board.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Regards,

    Vivian

  • Hi Vivian,

Please elaborate on which USB device you are connecting and also which exact port?

    - Keerthy

  • Hi Keerthy,

    Thanks for your quick reply.

I had tried 3 usb devices.
    1. A portable flash disk, whose id is "DiskSanDisk_Ultra_USB_3.0___1.00"
    2. A logitech camera with id "VID_046D & PID_08AF"
    3. Another camera with id "VID_0C45&PID_6366"

They all can't be detected by the tda4 linux system, but function well on my PC.

    Regards,

    Vivian

  • Hi Keerthy,

In additon, the USB2.0 Type-A stacked Ports and USB3.1 Type-C port on the board are tried.

    Regards,

    Vivian

  • Hi Keerthy,

    Customer reply

"Under normal working conditions, the log connected to the USB device should be like this, but we regret that we can't recognize it and don't feed back the above information.

Can you give us some troubleshooting suggestions based on your professional experience. For example, does it need to be configured before connecting USB devices, or how to troubleshoot hardware failures?"

    Thanks & Regards,

    Vivian

  • Hi Vivian,

Could you please try with a different pen drives? Or a different USB device like a Mouse?
Can they move to the latest SDK: https://www.ti.com/tool/download/PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-J721E/08.02.00.03
