Does TVP5146M2 support fast-switch input between one CVBS and another CVBS?

Now we must sampling image from two camera at the same time.

So, does TVP5146M2 support fast-switch input between one CVBS and another CVBS?

I noticed there is a sentence "if the video decoder is decoding an NTSC input from a VCR on one channel and then is switched to decode a PAL input from a DVD player on another channel, the video decoder automatically detects and reinitializes itself to support the change in video format." in TVP51xx Product Family - FAQ page 6.

If it does support. What configuration should be made?

    What exactly do you mean by fast switch?

    Do you mean that you want to connect 2 cameras to the decoder then sample one frame from one camera, switch to the other camera and capture a frame, switch back to the first camera capture a frame etc...?

    If so, then there will be a period after switching where it takes time for the decoder to lock to the new video input. This time will depend on many factors so is not very deterministic.

    The comment you make about switching is really talking about automatic format switching.
