TDA2PXEVM: When I applied 1GB Bios memory map for TDA2x patch , It won't boot.

Part Number: TDA2PXEVM

Hello.

I applied the 1GB Bios memory map for TDA2x patch from the VisionSDK_UserGuide_MemoryMap document.

The reason is to use more heap area by moving eve and dsp to second memory.

However, after applying the patch as in the document, it stops at Jumping to MPU CPU0 App and does not boot.

Please inquire if there are any other parts that need to be corrected other than those in the document.

I've attached patch file

thanks.

Park.

  • Hello.

I've applied patch which was shared through (+) [FAQ] TDA2x: How To – Modify 512MB Bios Memory map to 1GB Bios Memory map in vision SDK? - Processors forum - Processors - TI E2E support forums items.

but it also not booted up.

    (I set EMIFMODE=DUAL_EMIF_2X512MB)

but when I set EMIFMODE=SINGLE_EMIF_512MB, it was success booting, but heapsize was not increased.
