Part Number: PROCESSOR-SDK-AM62X

Hi Experts,

Good day. I am posting this concern on behalf of the customer.

Below is the customer's full transcript of the inquiry.

"Working on AM62x, through sdcard I am trying to bootup ...after mounting the file system it hangs getting messages as -> Starting Update UTMP about System Boot/Shutdown..."

Thank you for your help.

Kind regards,

Marvin

  • Hi Marvin,

Is this on custom board or TI EVM?

Can you please ask the customer to provide the full UART console log?

  • Hi Bin,

Good day. Thank you for your prompt response.

Please see input from the customer.

"This is a custom board, please find UART logs which I attached.

  • Hi Marvin,

[ OK ] Reached target System Time Synchronized.

Does the UART console stopped printing messages after this line?

Does the UART console scrolling up if you press "Enter" key on the keyboard?

Please attach the full UART console log, including the U-Boot boot messages.

  • Hi Bin,

  • Hi Team,

Looking forward to the update of this inquiry.

    Thank you for your help.

  • Hi Marvin,

Does the UART console stopped printing messages after this line? no

Do you mean the console still printing more messages? If so, please provide the full console log.

Does the UART console scrolling up if you press "Enter" key on the keyboard? yes and its rebooting

Linux rebooted if press "Enter" key on the keyboard? and it doesn't reboot if you don't touch the keyboard?

I still don't understand what the problem is...
