AM5729: bare metal hdmi

Hi,

Is there a bare-metal HDMI code that I can run on the AM5729 board (EVM or custom) ? The PDK has an HDMI test in the board/diag folder but it is targeted for a different board and SOC. Do you think that be a good starting point to port it to my AM5729 SOC ? what steps do I need to take to do that? what other options do I have?

Hi,

There are some example available with VPS driver at <PDK_Install_Path>\packages\ti\drv\vps\examples\dss\displayDssBareMetal meant for AM57x. You can refer to the documentation https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-rtos/esd/AM57X/06_03_02_08/exports/docs/rtos/index_device_drv.html#vps-drivers for more details. But I am not sure if these examples have been tested in the release. You can try them out and if needs to be modified, this would be a good starting point for you.
