SK-AM62: DMA

Just wanted to add that the application is trying to run on the AM62's M4, and the TRM secton on the DMA peripheral is empty!  Can one assume that it is functionally identical the AM64 DMA?

Can you clarify your use-case for DMA and how you are leveraging that on AM64?

The MCU+ SDK on AM62 is for the M4 and the peripherals supported are the ones in the MCU Sub System. There is no DMA support. 

Hello Mukul, thanks for the reply.  Our plan is to use DMA to move data from main DDR memory to GPRC memory addresses,  as well as move data from GPRC addresses into main DDR memory.  Since there are several memory address ranges on the GPRC, we would use DMA chaining to handle these non, contiguous address blocks in the GPRC.

By the way Mukul, I just want to be clear that this is on the *AM62x* chip.   Thanks!

Also, I mis-typed, I mean GPMC not GPRC.

DMA drivers are not supported for AM62x in the current release. I will review the plan and update on the availability.
