Part Number: SK-AM64
During my test with the uart5 in the board, I found that any baud rate > 115200 would cause a lot of errors. Then I found this in the datasheet:
it says TBD for 15pF of load. Is this number Decided now?
Thanks a lot

Hello Leon,
I have reassigned this thread to the UART hardware team, they should be reaching out shortly.
Best regards,
Andrew
Hello Leon,
The Datasheet was recently updated with the available information. We do not have any additional information to share.
Q.1 During my test with the uart5 in the board
Was this on a custom board and did you have external transceivers ?

Sreenivasa
Thank you Kallikuppa. I just found the eorrs was caused by the long uart cable. A shorter one fixed the issue.
I'm using the SK-AM64 board which has no external transceivers with uart5.
Hello Leon,
Thank you for the note and good to hear that the issue is resolved.
Could you please help me understand the baud rate you were using and the cable length.
Regards,
Sreenivasa
Hi Kallikuppa,
I'm working on 3MHz for my tests, and the cable length is about 50cm. but the errors occur with 500K baud rate as well.

Leon
Hello Leon,
Thank you for the inputs.

Can you please help me understand what cable length worked.

a 15cm one works well with 3.69M baudrate. the rx error rate of 100Byte frames is around 0.1% for my overnight tests.
Hello Leon,
Noted and thank you very much for the support.
