OMAP-L137 EVM with TMX320DA830 Multichannel Audioboard

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP-L137, DA8XX

Hello,

I'm using an OMAP-L137 EVM Board with the Multichannel Audioextender Board 702222 both from Spektrum Digital. I want to use the ExtenderBoard with the ARM Core running MontaVista 5.0. I followed the instructions from http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Omapl137_linux_audio_driver building the Kernel. After booting from the new Kernel the command aplay -l gives me:

root@(none):~# aplay -l
**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****
card 0: EVM [DA8xx EVM], device 1: AK4xxx ak4xxx-I2S-1 [ak4xxx-1]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: EVM [DA8xx EVM], device 2: DIT DIT-I2S-2 [DIT-2]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

when I try "aplay -D 'hw:0,1' -c 2 track.wav" aplay crashes after some time, without any audio playback with the error msg:

aplay: pcm_write:1264: write error: Input/output error

Are there any other neccessery steps that i have to take to use the ExtenderBoard with the L137 EVM?

In addition the INT0, DS4 LED is continally illuminated.

Regards

Sascha
