DM8147 powering requirements

I'm looking for the required items for powering DM8147. I checked Digital Spectrum webpage which provides information for the EVM of DM816x. In the following table, I list the major items which I found for powering the EVM of DM816x:

  • In the document “Power management units for embedded processors (Rev. E)” from Q1 2011, the TPS65232 and TPS659112 has been suggested for powering C6A816x. Please see following link: http://focus.ti.com/lit/sg/slvt158e/slvt158e.pdf

    I suppose TPS51200 would still be needed for memory supply.

    DM814x voltage domains are similar to C6A816x, but the power is claimed to be lower though. I haven't studied the details of TPS659112 but it definately needs EEPROM to be setup by I2C. TPS65232 is HW defined. Sequencing can be applied to both IC's. That's the reason for assuming you can use the same power solution as suggested for C6A816x. Please note that the power up sequence differs between C6A816x and DM814x.

    I can see from http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/integra_dsparm/f/625/t/110022.aspx that you will receive the power estimates for your actual use cases, so you will be able to move on from there. Otherwise the DM814x EVM should be orderable in june and shipping in july according to http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/integra_dsparm/f/625/p/104922/378228.aspx#378228 in case you want to copy the EVM solution.
