"touch" command in SPRU862b.pdf

Hi,

I can't find the library or the .h file for the "touch" command described in SPRU862b.pdf file section 3.2.2.

Apparently this function can be used to force data caching and thus minimize cache miss.

Is it still a valid command for the C6472 devices?

"touch" is a function and not a command. The function can still be used with the C6472 and can be copied from SPRU862b. As far as I know it doesn't appear in any available libraries.

What do you nean by copied from the spru?

I tried to call the function from the c code, but it failed as not recognized command.

Just have a look at Example 3-1, there the touch function is defined, written in assembler code. Thatswhy he told about "copying from spru".

Now the next question might be "How to compile and link to my project?"

And yet I have no answer; yet am trying to understand how to handle the XDC/RTSC framework configuration wood, and am dreaming of the good, old, plain Makefiles projects...
