Support for custom C6713 in CCSv4

Hi,

I am using a custom board with TMS320C6713B DSP.

A spectrum digital XDS510 USB JTAG Emulator and CCS v4.2.3 ( 1month trial version).

I am trying to create a target configuration file in CCS.

I have selected the emulator that I am using and when I want to select the processor (C6713 B)

there is not option for such device (the only device that I can see is DSK6713).

Does this mean CCS v4 does not support any custom boards with the C6713B DSP?

Or is there something else that I need to install to setup the correct device in the configuration file?

Please help.

Hi Aditi,

I think selecting the processor "DSK6713" should work for any custom C6713 boards.

Make sure you select "Spectrum Digital XDS510USB Emulator" in the Connection list and select 'DSK6713' from the device list.

You will need to change the GEL file (innitialization script) to a generic C6713 one or your custom file.
