TDA4VM: Creating Custom Mesh for surround view application?

Part Number: TDA4VM

Hi,

I have gone through the Surround view application and for our customized application we are looking at the possibilities of creating a custom mesh and mapping each camera pixel to the specified regions of the output mesh. I hope it is possible to add our custom mesh in this but is there any workflow that we can refer to create our custom mesh, also the mapping part. For now, we are new to the concept of GPU based stitching. Any low-level details will also help us to modify our application.

Regards,
Dinesh

  • Hello Dinesh,

Currently, the two applications that show the usage of a graphics application (GLES) with OpenVX are the mosaic app and the surround-view app that you mentioned. We don't have an examples of modifying the surround-view app to modify the mesh. If you have your own application that you wish to replace the whole surround-view app, that could also work.

Unfortunately, we do not have many (or any) articles detailing how the application works at a low-level and explains the mesh/mapping.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

    Regards,

    Erick
