I have not tested this myself on AM335x, but I would expect this to work similar to when connecting to an R5F remote core on other processors (e.g., https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-rtos/esd/AM65X/08_02_00_05/exports/docs/processor_sdk_rtos_am65xx_08_02_00_05/docs/user_guide/ccs_setup_am65xx.html#debugging-with-hlos-running-on-a53-linux )

1) Run Linux on the board. initialize the PRU cores from Linux with the RemoteProc driver.

2) Connect CCS debugger to the XDS110. Note that the target configuration for the AM335x board should NOT run any initialization scripts (check by opening the Target configuration, going to "Advanced", select the different options, and make sure that "initialization script" is blank).

3) Connect to the PRU cores. Load the symbols for the PRU project that is currently running. At this point, I would expect that you can see the source code, and the program counter (PC) pointing to the point in the source code that the PRU firmware is at.
