I cannot find a thread for this question so I am posting it here. Apologies to all in advance for using the wrong thread. I am investigating using DSP to implement a receiver for bat echo location signals. I am looking for pointers as to which device and which IDE I should be using. This is an amateur project so I cannot afford a big outlay of money. Any suggestions would be very helpful.
