AM6548: Unable to find ipc-rtos-examples ex02_messageq in AM65x Processor SDK

I was able to find an example in the CSL using the "mailbox" feature. Building the PDK yielded the following files which seemed to work when flashed on their respective cores ?? 

csl_mailbox_ipc_app_mpu1_0_release.xa53fg
csl_mailbox_ipc_app_mcu1_0_release.xer5f

This works, but it does use the "Mailbox" API, as opposed to the IPC driver API. 

Is there a way for the IPC driver to communicate between A53 and R5F? Or do I have to use the CSL's "Mailbox"

Please find the AM65x SDK documentation this way:

Then from the left pane, SDK Components -> PDK -> User Guide -> https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-rtos/esd/AM65X/08_02_00_05/exports/docs/pdk_am65xx_08_02_00_21/docs/userguide/am65xx/index_am65xx.html

Then you can find Modules -> IPC: https://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-rtos/esd/AM65X/08_02_00_05/exports/docs/pdk_am65xx_08_02_00_21/docs/userguide/am65xx/modules/ipc.html.

You'll then find the IPC examples between A53 and R5.

Therein lies the issue I believe, the example referenced in

Is not present in the documentation you linked. 

I was hoping to use some prebuilt binaries for the A53 and R5, and find a baremetal demo of A53 to R5F communication, but in the examples in the documentation you sent there is no baremetal demo of A53 to R5, only R5 to R5. 

Do you know if a baremetal A53 -> R5 IPC example exists (outside the CSL)? 

Ok, so it looks like the only way to do that is to use the CSL examples
