AM625: MCAN actual transfer rate

Could you tell me the actual transfer rate for MCAN?

The TRM describes that the bit rate can be programmed to values greater than 1 Mbps.

TI products include CAN transceivers that support 2 Mbps, 5 Mbps, and 8 Mbps.

Can the MCAN support 2Mbps, 5Mbps or 8Mbps?

I need to check internally on the programmable baud rate more than 1Mbps that AM625 can support.

Hello Daisuke,

As per the datasheet, CAN-FD can support speed up to 8Mbps.

Please note that the above speed support quoted is based on the datasheet.

We still have to review the validation data to confirm the performance. and update the relevant collaterals.

I have the same question for AM64x.

For AM64x, 8Mbps is not indicated on the datasheet.
