Hi TI
It was found that the CVDD of 66AK2G12ABYA60 failed to power on, and then the DSP could not get up, and the working current was very large. Through the test, it was found that:
1. The input capacitor C34 of TPS82130SILR is short-circuited. After removing C34, the short-circuit disappears, but CVDD still cannot rise, and U6 has no output after disconnecting L4;
2. The output of VCC_1V8 is normal, but 0V9_EN is pulled down to 1.4V;
3. After removing C34, the working current of the PCBA is still very high, but no short circuit is found in other places. The temperature of the K2G is very high with a thermal imager, and the temperature of other parts is normal. It is suspected that the K2G is short-circuited internally.
I would like to know about:
1. If CVDD is not powered on for a long time, will other power supplies, such as DVDD33, DVDD18, be poured into CVDD? Will it cause the 66AK2G12ABYA60 to fail?
2. If the input capacitor of TPS82130SILR is short-circuited, will it cause TPS82130SILR to fail?
3. Why is 0V9_EN pulled low?
