Have you not received any support from Appro Inc?
Zhang,
Did you receive the design package from Appro after you purchased the camera? Once you accept the license agreement that comes with that you will receive 8 hours of free support from Appro.

Zhang,
I have the same puzzle as you, if you are a Chinese, you can contact me with QQ:46520368, maybe we can help each other~
the latest IPNC version is 2.6 and it is available at Appro ftp site.
If you have ordered the kit from Appro (http://www.appropho.com/NewWeb/Main.php), you should have got the software update message.
Or please contact your TI sales office for details on how to get the IPNC package

Raghu
Hi, I ordered DM368-MT5 IPNC kit from TI's Distributor:SEED International LTD .They give me one DVD copy from Appro. No any other information about this IPNC.
So I contacted directly to APPRO Photoelectron Inc. I have give griffy@appropho.com which is listed in http://www.appropho.com/NewWeb/ContactUs.php several emails recently. But no any responds.
So I want to know who will support this IPNC kit, TI,Appro or SEED?
I have bought an unsupported IPNC kit?
Hi,
Please get support through SEED International Ltd and SEED should get support through Appro.
Let us know if you get any issues with it.
You should get IPNC hardware kit along with all the necessary software + hardware details from SEED.
Please ask Seed to procure all these from Appro. Version 2.6 is the latest one for IPNC.
Regards,
Raghu
Thank your reply!
I have contacted SEED . They said: I should contact Appro directly and they dont support this product.
My question about DM368-MT5 IPNC is :
TI's documemts which name is :TI DM36x IP Network Camera PSIA Implementation.pdf like following:
This document says:
TI's dm36x ipnc based on PSIA and it is tested with Milestone VMS.like following:
I think it is ture.So we buy Milestone VMS software from Milestone company.
But when we use Milestone VMS software link DM368 ipnc, it can discovery DM368 IPNC but returns "link error" information.
Milestone support forum give me the following advice:
Maybe the camera is not truly PSIA conformant (it would not be the first), You can try disabling the Microphone when registering the camera or to install it using Universal Driver and RTSP.
So I want to know DM368-MT5 IPNC kit is really psia conformant? Or there are some bugs in source code?
Thank you very much!
HI, this ppt refers to test with milstone VMS which was done during 2009 timeframe on older version PSIA standard. After this, PSIA standard has also changed and currently the software is tested against PSIA conformant tool available at http://www.psialliance.org/conformant.html .PSIA test report is given along with release in docs folder.
This also refers that you have the older version of the software and needs to updated to latest version 2.6. In the latest version we have tested with latest PSIA confirmant toola dn report has been given with the release.

Hi,
did you making a test of the DM368-MT5 IPNC with the lastest version 2.6 software connect with milestone VMS?If you did, what milestone VMS version is ?
Thanks an Regards,
HI,
No, we have not tested it with Milestone VMS, it was tested PSIA conformance tool only.
However, we know that -->
In the case of Milestone, they had additional information like width, height, video position X and Y required in RTSP URL.
You need to do some modifications in the wis-streamer.cpp to make sure camera accepts the URL sent by milestone.
In IPNC reference design, the parameters sent along with the PSIA request has only the codec type.
For example:
Thanks a lot.
I want to know that what version milestone VMS is tested in the above TI DM36x IP Network Camera PSIA Implementation.pdf (document version 1.0,software version 2.0).
– Based on openly available PSIA reference implementation
– Tested with Milestone VMS
– Demonstrated at ASIS 2009 Plug-fest (Sep 2009)
And now TI DM36x IP Network Camera software develop kits have implemented what version PSIA protocol.
Hi,
Currently in v2.6 of IPNC RDK, we support Implementation of PSIA 1.1rev1 standard, tested compliance with conformance tool version
2.0.0.0 from PSIA forum.
Regarding the old test of Milstone software of sept 2009, this was done on older version of PSIA standard and this milestone version may not be available now
