Hi,Mr.

I'm going to design DRA821U and use XDS110 for JTAG Debugger.

I will use following Pin for XDS110

TMS,TRSTn,TDI,VTREF(3.3V?),TDO,GND,TCK,EMU0,EMU1,nRESET

and i don't use KEY,EMU2,EMU3,EMU4.

In this case, I think that no use Pins(KEY,EMU2,EMU3,EMU4) are NO.

Is my understanding correct?

Yes, EMU2, EMU3, EMU4 are not required. KEY is optional - just helps ensure an external emulator cable is oriented correctly.

VTREF is to set the voltage of the emulators internal buffers. It should match your designs IO levels for the JTAG signals. What voltage is your IO operating at for the DR821 JTAG (see DRA821 data manual to see what VDDSHVx power rails the JTAG signals are assigned). Most customers use 3.3V, but DRA821 supports either. Just note all IO assigned to a specific VDDSHVx power rails operate at that IO voltage.

When i use XDS110 i will use HDR 2X10 2.54MM PITCH CONNECTOR.

Is my understanding correct?
