TDA4VM: Compression & Decompression Time

Hello,

If sending Camera Data (3MP 60FPS) through 1Gb ethernet, what will be the time it will take to be sent to the TDA4 memory? More specifically, the time it takes to compress and decompress the data?

Hi Daviel,

Which SDK release are you using? We have some updates on the latest SDK, ie SDK8.4, which should give better performance for encoder and decoder both. Dont have exact numbers, let me check if it is mentioned in the datasheet.

Hi Daviel,

Can you please switch to the latest SDK release, SDK8.4? I think 3MP 60fps, ie 180MP/s, decoding should be possible in this release.
