wake GPIO source active level

I am wondering if a wake GPIO signal have to be an active low to wake the processor?

I have suspend/resume working and I know I can wake from my sysintr associated with GPIO 0 (power mgnt chip) just fine.

I also have a GPIO pin (GPIO 4) that I want to use as a wake source. I have it programmed as a wake source and if I wake via GPIO 0 I can see both GPIO 0 and GPIO 4's SYSINTR are indeed set as wake sources. The thing is I can not get GPIO 4 to wake it.

This is an active high signal that is normally low, I suspect this might be the problem as all the other examples I can find use a low going signal (interrupt) to wake the device.

Any ideas?
