TDA4VM: TDA4VM: On 8.4 PSDK-L how to reduce DDR speed to 3733 MTS

Hi,

can you please provide a patch for reducing the DDR speed to 3733 MTS based on the currently released PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-SK-TDA4VM 08.04.00.11 ?

Just like the same for the PSDK-L 08.00 which can be found here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1028163/faq-tda4vm-on-7-3-8-0-sdk-how-to-reduce-ddr-speed-to-3733-mts

Applying the same reverts on the u-boot in 08.04 results in some conflicts, which I am not able to resolve confidently.

Hi Thomas,

The DDR driver code has moved further ahead. So there will be more patches to revert. Could you try with default 4266 MTS and check if it is stable for you?

Hi Keerthy,

I have one TDA4-EVM board which does not run stable with 4266 MTS. This had cost me some time to find out..

Therefore I would really need the patch for 3733 MTS if possible.

Thomas,

You will have to revert a bunch of other patches in the DDR driver. Basically the patches that are applied on top of the patches that we revert.
