CCSTUDIO: That stupid Pin WILL NOT go away.

Part Number: CCSTUDIO

This is for Ki, if he's still around.  Otherwise anyone who can answer it...

My question:

https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/1030540/ccstudio-ccs10-1-1/3809754#3809754

Was directed to this answer:

https://e2e.ti.com/support/tools/code-composer-studio-group/ccs/f/code-composer-studio-forum/184636/removal-of-file-specific-build-options/666750#666750

Which worked... until it stopped.  .

As apparent in this image, right click on the folder with the pin, and there context menu NO LONGER has the option " Reset to Default" described in the post.

And yet, it worked before...  Because I thanked Ki for it.

  • Hello,

    Are you still using 10.1.1?

Can you try using a new workspace folder and import the existing project to it?

    Thanks

    ki

  • Hi Ki,

Yes, we are still using 10.1.1.  When you have a 400,000+ line project, you migrate slowly.  We are now just wrapping up migrating from the TI compiler to GNU 7.3.1.  That's been two years.

I would try what you suggest, but the pin went away (!!!).  And I did not close CCS.  I just left it open, and have been working on Windows which I opened over it (Visual Studio, MS Word, notepad++, etc...).  When I saw your reply, I checked it again.

I just gotta shake my head at it...

    Thanks for the follow-up anyway.
