Is there deinterlacer in HDVPSS when capturing video using DM816x?

In SPRUGX8-dm816x tech reference, page 176,  it says:

Deinterlacing is not supported in-line during capture.

So I wonder if the deinterlacer in DM816x is used only for video display.

    Hi, De-Interlacing on the fly is not supported during the capture. But de-Interlacing is supported in Memory to Memory mode. Where you could save your captured data to memory and then de-Interlace that data from memory and put it back to memory. Regards, Hardik shah
