    Thanks for your response. I see that this gasket is in the VBUSM IP. Can you tell me what it is for and how it is connected?

    Mari Tsunoda,

    The Time Out Gasket module is used to prevent slave from holding up the interconnect and terminate such a failed transaction safely. The gasket does so by tracking transactions to the slave IP and timing out if these are outstanding for too long. It provides appropriate responses on read/status interface so that the issuing master can proceed. The gasket will report an error via interrupt, and log information about the transaction for debug. In addition, it will report an error if an unexpected response is received.

    The TI Safety Manual has further details.
