I have a 3.1 version of CCStudio on my PC and have recently tried to install version 3.3 on the same PC. I need the old version to support legacy and the new version for future products. Everything seemed to install all right until I ran Code Composer Studio Setup to select the 6455 emulator driver. Then I got this message: "Error reading one or more XML files: C:\CCStudio_v3.3\drivers\TargetDB\drivers\sdxds510cla.xml, C:\CCStudio_v3.3\drivers\TargetDB\drivers\sdxds510usbcla.xml".Then when I tried to find the driver I needed (DSK6455_XDS510USB), it didn't exist.
We also went to the Spectrum Digital web page and downloaded the latest version of the XDS510 Driver (we are using the SD emulator pod). This went without problem, but it didn't fix anything
My partner, who doesn't have to support legacy products and hence doesn't have version 3.1 on his machine, had no problems. He went over my install very carefully copying what he did in his install. This includes copying over his xml files. We still had the same problem.
Has anyone run into this problem in the past? Do you think the problem I am having is releated to having two versions of CCStudio on my PC? If so is there any way that anyone knows of overcoming this problem?
