Hi,
We wants to know the below total solution for EtherNET/IP technology support:
Requirement:
Safety communication master/slave protocol: CIP Safety Originator/Target, Ethernet/IP Scanner/Adapter
Master station with slave station module number: 128, total IO points>1024 [tentative]
Functional safety: IEC61508 13849-1 SIL2/PLd/category3
Question:
1. What factors are related to the number of modules in the master station with slave stations?
2. Can a module have both master & slave functions and integrate the master & slave protocol stack? The master/slave station considers a set of solutions, is it possible to realize it?
3. Meet the functional safety requirements: IEC61508 13849-1 SIL2/PLd/category3, do you know whether the single-chip solution can achieve it?
4. Can the slave station communicate with the master station (Ethernet/IP) as well as with other common peripherals (TCP/IP)? In order to be compatible with common equipment communication,
it needs to be compatible with the corresponding protocol stack?
5. Does TI have mature solutions to recommend?
6. What security libraries can be provided? Safety related design reference?
7. Is an operating system necessary? What are the certified operating systems that the plan is compatible with?
8. Know that the master station is cascaded to bring more slave station modules, is there an upper limit, and what are the parameters of the limit?
9. The master/slave module has both secure communication and non-secure communication. Is there any conflict that needs to be set?
10. In order to adapt to secure and non-secure communication, does the IO part also need to integrate secure and non-secure communication methods, and how to isolate them?
Will they affect each other? Does it affect security certification?
11. Can the safety communication data be set through configuration, which needs to use CIP Safety?
