AM3358: Modifying uboot environment variables from command line

Part Number: AM3358

Hi TIE2E team,

SOC: beaglebone black with 7 inch touch screen connected to the GPIO.

SDK: Processor SDK Linux for AM335X  Ver. 07_03_00_005

I am trying to set/get uboot environment variable from the Linux user space (command line). Everytime I use fw_setenv or fw_printenv I get the following error:

target:~# fw_printenv autoload
target:~# Configuration file wrong or corrupted

target:~#  fw_setenv autoload no
target:~# Configuration file wrong or corrupted

any idea why i am getting this error?

Any help is appreciated.

regards,

Mohamed
