DM36x Motion detect configuration fail on Win7 Russian edition,

Hi, this is the third time that I post this question here, since none reply from any body.

If anyone has happen to this situattion like me here, and has any clue please kindly give me a hint.

HI, I am using the DM36x platform for IPCAM project.

Recently, Russian customer found that the motion detection cannot config, the green block rectangle did not show out on the config window, nothing going on there.

I trace into gffx.dll and found the "UIMode" was no change, even the GODB  has assigned the value as  "#gdoVideo.UIMode=1" at the godb site,

the gffx.dll did not receive this parameter.

This so far happen only in Windows 7 Russian edition. The others Windows 7 is good.

Does anyone happen to the same problem as I happen here?

How is this? any idea?

  • Hi,

can you please give the exact steps done to reproduce this issue. ALso, which version of IPNC are you using?

Please use v2.6 as this is the latest one.

Currently, the activeX plugin is not fully supported for windows7. This was developed for winxp for IE version 7or above.

  • Hi Raghu kudva

    Thank you for your replying.

The IPNC that I used here is V2.6. which is the latest one.

The steps  I done for test motion detection is described as below..

    1. install a  Win7 Russian Edition on a PC

    2. connect the IPNC with IE by typing the http://IP address , the activeX will be install then.

    3. after type the user name and password , the video image can be seen.  Select the "Advanced Feature" and the UI will enter into the motion detection configure.

4.click the "configure" and move over the mouse cursor on the  image area of the motion detection video window.

Normally, there will gonna to  be have a green rectangle frame  showing and flickering on the motion detection video window , but it was not. None of any green Retangle

frame was showing up on the motion detection video window.

The most curious is on English Edition of Win7, this problem will not happen. (using the same one IPNC)
