TMS320C6678: Register value is not 0 after power-on reset

Part Number: TMS320C6678

Hi team,

Here's an issue from the customer may need your help:

1) The self-made board has two DSPs and when loaded, the hyperlink related register value for DSP1 is not 0. The DSP0 power-on register status starts as follows:

The DSP1 power-on register status starts as follows:

The register value should be cleared after power-up, but is not currently 0, why?

The program loaded does not contain any hyperlink-related programs. After clicking system reset, the hyperlink register value in DSP1 changes to 0, then power cycle to load program, then check the register value to see that it is still not 0.

2) When checking the other registers of DSP0, the error is reported as follows:

What could be the possible reason why one of the DSPs is unable to view register values?

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Best Regards,

Cherry
