C5402 input clock jitter requirement

Dear All,

Is there an input clock jitter requirement for the VC5402 DSP? This oscillator is the clock source for the PLL multiplier inside the DSP chip(X2/CLKIN pin).

Hi,

C5502 datasheet does not specify it. But you may know that you keep jitter as small as possible. What is your clock source?

Thanks Hyun.

We're using oscillator for this purpose. I'm putting a specification for them toe alternate sourcing the oscillator. I just notice that datasheet don't have the spec. for jitter. Look like I may have to just use a number from one of the oscillator manufacturer.
