CCSTUDIO: Does CCS with XDS110 support remote debugging support ?

Hi Champs,

Lauterbach supports home/office debugging or remote debugging capabilities. Link to the same - How to improve your home office debugging experience - News / Remote Debugging - Lauterbach Support

This is a diagrammatic representation of the same. For CCS solution, PC1 to be connected via XDS110 and PC2 will remotely try to access the XDS directly via CCS (via TCP/IP being on same network).

Having a solution like this - https://www.usb-over-network.com/ will simplify the problem but this is a paid software and becomes difficult to remotely debug without this software.

Can this feature be supported via CCS ?

Aakash,

This capability is not available for XDS110. There are XDS560v2 class debug probes that have ethernet support and can be used over a network. Spectrum Digital had an XDS220 with ethernet as well.

In the past there was a partner that offered a software solution similar to what Lauterbach has but they discontinued it due to lack of interest.

Note that this is applicable for command-line automation. If you are looking for CCS IDE debug, then it is not so relevant.
