AM625: LPDDR4 Product Selection

Part Number: AM625

Hi,

Good Day.

Please let us know the LPDDR4 part number validated with AM625 micro-processor and is supported into SDK (LPDDR4 configuration files already integrated into SDK). Also, can you please share the design files for the same.

    Hi Ray, sorry for the late reply

    The AM62x has been validated with Micron  MT53E2G32D4DE-046.  The SDK will support the device on the AM62x Low Power EVM, which has a similar device MT53E1G16D1FW-046.  The design files for this board have not been released yet

    Good Day. Please see below the response of our customer to your reply. Thank you very much.

    The suggest LPDDR4 "MT53E2G32D4DE-046" has 32 bit bus width but as per datasheet AM62x supports only x16 bit DDR. Am I missing something here?

    Also, please let me know how I can get the design files for AM62x Low Power EVM.

    No, when the boards were produced the x16 bit version of the device wasn't available.  The x32 version was a superset, so we just connected half the data bus to this.

    the design files for the AM62x LP evm won't be available until 1Q23.  They can refer to the AM64x SK EVM design files.  The AM64x has the same DDR IP and interface as AM62x.
