SK-AM62: bare-metal mipi dpi code

Hi,

I noticed my sk-am62 uses MIPI DPI interface (connected to an IC to convert it to HDMI) for display. I would like to have a simple bare-metal code to show something on the screen, where do I get started ? How complete is the datasheet for implementing bare metal? is there any programming guide? Please let me know if there is any example on this processor or similar processors that I can use as a starting point.

We do not have any examples/documentation for the baremetal code and we only have references for the Linux driver.

can you guide me about the linux driver for MIPI DPI ? what source codes sk-am62 uses in your linux kernel ? I want to learn this, please help me understand this driver.

With regards to the DSS controller on AM62x, the following file is a good reference: https://git.ti.com/cgit/ti-linux-kernel/ti-linux-kernel/tree/drivers/gpu/drm/tidss/tidss_dispc.c?h=ti-linux-5.10.y. I would recommend you to review the section "DRM Kernel aspects" in the bootlin slides: https://bootlin.com/doc/training/graphics/graphics-slides.pdf. It gives a good overview of how the display framework works.
