Hi Yuxin,
The Software Diagnostics Library (SDL) has an introduction to TOG and a safety example available. Please reference documentation at:
4.8. TOG : Time-Out Gasket — Software Diagnostics Library (SDL) - J721E User Guide
Thanks,
Fabiana
Hi Fabiana,
I know this document, but it does not explain the function of each register. I want a document about the function of TOG register. Is there such a document
Hi,
The TDA4VM Safety Manual has a section on the VBUSM Timeout Gasket describing its functionality. If you do not already have access to the Safety Manual document please reach out to your local TI contact. In general, the timeout gasket is implemented in H/W and tracks transactions across the interconnect, providing errors/logs for transactions that are outstanding too long.
The registers / addresses mentioned above in this thread, can be viewed in the SDL example code to see how they are being used. A detailed register description is not currently available in the TRM.
