DM355 UART RX problem

Dear All:

 

Our DM355 platform encounters a wired problem in the RX of the UARTs.

After DM355 runs for 2 weeks, the RX's of UART0 and UART1 are not working.

The same problem is reproduced after 3-4 hours of running DM355 inside the chamber in 50 degree C.

The CPU is still working by responding to the GPIO keys.

TX's seems OK. They continue to send out debug messages.

 

Is there any possible explanation to this problem?

Or, any one have the same experience?

Any comment will be welcomed.

    Dear Ray,

    Our company been experiencing the same problem. Our machine runs fine at beginning, but after 1 hour or so the RX of the UART seems to hang. We see the console msg but when we try to key command to the console, there was no response. We measured our UART Transceiver and verifies that there are serial data going into the DM355, however the CPU just does not respond. I've read thru the forum and found that people have all sorts of problem with UART and that the suggestion to resolve these problems is to modify code to DVSDK 1.30.
