Enabling Linux KEXEC via TI processors

Good morning all,

[EDIT] I am interested in using kexec (ref: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/linux/library/l-kexec/index.html and http://kernel.org/pub/linux/utils/kernel/kexec/) on various TI processors. Currently, I'm testing this feature on a gumstix overo water, so I'm using a TI OMAP 3530.

I can get the Angstrom kernel to compile with kexec kernel support, but I cannot get it to execute kexec properly. It successfully decompresses the new kernel and appears to load it, but eventually hangs and displays no useful debugging output.

I realize that it could be a gumstix thing, but I'm wondering if anyone has tested and verified kexec works on TI processors?

Supposedly it's supported so...

Thanks,

Nick
