Running the C6416 simulator

Hi

 

     I got a DSK board (TIC6455) from a 3rd party and a CCS along with it. I installed the CCS 3.3 and i wanted to try out some examples on the CCS6416 simulator( I chose that from setup -Device accurate 6416 simulator). The example code in the tutorial section in the sim64xx directory compiles but does not load although the endianness is correct. What do u think the issue lies? This CCS came with the DSK board for TIC6455. Thanks for the help.
