USB port on the TMS320C6713 DSK

Hi,

Does anyone know if its possible to directly access the USB port on the TMS320C6713 DSK board?

Are there available drivers?

I'd really appreciate any help available

The USB port on that platform is for providing an embedded JTAG emulator, and is not something that can be used by the 6713 DSP in any way.

When you connect the USB port to your PC, you would need Spectrum Digital emulation drivers, which you should be able to get from their website.

FYI, if you use CCS 4 or CCS 5 the drivers for that USB port (to use it as JTAG) are already included. You can use CCS 4 or 5 with the onboard emulation for free. In other words you can always get the latest and greatest CCS and use it with your DSK. You can find downloads on the corresponding wiki pages:
