Linux Boot L138 EVM

Hello,

I am attempting to boot Linux from an SD card on a L138 EVM. I used the Narcissus tool to create a kernal image and file system and put these onto FAT and ext2 partitions on the SD card respectively. The Linux kernal begins booting and gets a good way through before stalling here:

VFS: Mounted root (ext2 filesystem) on device 179:2.

devtmpfs: mounted

Freeing init memory: 280K

request_module: runaway loop modprobe binfmt-0000

After a couple of minutes the kernal crashes.

Anyone have any idea what I have done wrong?

A google search was not very helpful on this topic. Since you used Narcissus (and not the DVSDK software), we may not be able to help much. I would try repeating the procedures, running checks on root filesystem partition to make sure there aren't any errors. If you still see issues, try another SD card. If you still see issues, you will likely have to go to the Angtsrom mailing lists or IRC to get help.

OK, so I now try to use the DVSDK. However, I am having problems installing this. I have started another post as it is not really related to this one:
