Is .config directory shall be preserved to keep our configuration.

Hello,

CCS 5.1, xdc  3.20.8.88

There is a auto-generated directory, .config:

 

 

Do we have to put this directory in our repository in order to share project each other in the developper team?

Do we lost configuration stuff if we do not keep it?
