How to read DM6437 maximum clock rate

 I am using the TMS6437 chip. I am using both the 600MHz and the 700MHz maximum clockrates version. Is there a register/adress from which I can read which chip version I am using (i.e. 600MHz max or 700MHz max clock rate)? At the moment the only way I can tell is by reading the package.

    Unfortunately I do not believe there is any indication as to which speed grade these parts are in an internal register. You could reserve a location in a flash memory or something similar so that once programmed the code could find out, but this of course is an external solution.
